Pink Peppercorn Ice Cream
Besides being fun to say, the ice cream that Lindsay of Scoop Adventures dreamed up shows that you can teach a (not-so-old) dog new tricks. In her post she teaches the Sur La Table Garlic Chopper how to play nice with pink peppercorns.
Sur La Table is sponsoring a wonderful giveaway here at Kitchen Play. Simply recreate any of the 6 recipes from this month’s Progressive Party, post about the experience on your blog and provide a link to your post on Kitchen Play to enter. All qualifying bloggers in each course will be entered to win The Swissmar V-Slicer valued at $50 (6 prizes total). All qualifying bloggers, including this month’s participants, are eligible to win the Grand Prize: a Le Creuset® Cassis Oval Wide French Oven valued at $250. This contest is open to US residents only through October 31, 2010. Please review the complete contest rules before entering. Good luck!

Does for the contest, does the recipe have to be followed exactly, or can we simply recreate the featured item with our own recipe?
Hi Stella,
Great question. The Kitchen Play contest is really meant to be an opportunity to inspire and support one another through our cooking, recipes and writing. If you are inspired by one of these recipes to create something different, that’s great. Just make sure to mention and link to both Kitchen Play and the sponsor (in this case, Sur La Table) in the post you create about the experience. Also, make sure to leave the link to your specific post in the comments section of the course that inspired you.
Good luck!
Casey
